Craftmanship, look, and quality of the incense holder are great. The marketing pictures show the cat holder using a coreless Japanese style incense. In my experience, this incense holder will extinguish that type of incense when it gets to the paw holding it. This results in the incense not burning completely. This is not a problem with incense with the wooden core as the incense will burn completely above the paw holding the incense stick in place.
