The Taoist Mudra Guardian Bead draws its inspiration from two traditional Taoist hand seals, the Lingguan Mudra, known for dispelling fear and warding off negative energy, and the Xuantian Mudra, a protective gesture used during night travel and in unpredictable environments. These ancient signs were reinterpreted into two forms: the sacred characters and the mudra gestures themselves. The cinnabar layer is brushed and sealed manually to prevent flaking and to keep the color long-lasting.
