About
This bead embodies the flowing philosophy of Taiji: yin and yang not as opposites, but as harmony in motion. Handcrafted with black copper and S925 silver, its contrasting layers carry a subtle duality—firm yet gentle, bright yet warm. As you turn it on your wrist, the shifting metals become a meditation on balance and life's rhythms.
With prolonged handling, the purple copper will oxidize to a deep black. The interplay of black and white represents the true state of Taiji, symbolizing the opposition and unity of Yin and Yang. Four small cylinders are inlaid into the spacer beads using traditional mortise and tenon joints, and every line at the junction of the copper and silver reveals the craftsmanship's meticulous attention to detail.
