About
The Four Symbols represent the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise, sacred deities in ancient Chinese mythology, believed to protect health and well-being. Popular during the Han Dynasty, their patterns adorned architecture, roof tiles, and bronze mirrors, embodying cultural heritage and divine guardianship.
Initially linked to celestial constellations, the Four Symbols came to symbolize the cardinal directions and the seasons. The Azure Dragon (east) signifies spring and renewal, the White Tiger (west) autumn and harvest, the Vermilion Bird (south) summer and vitality, and the Black Tortoise (north) winter and steadfastness.
Crafted from S925 silver using 3D wax casting technology for precision and enhanced detail, this spacer bead features meticulous hand-finishing for a polished, tactile feel. Measuring approximately 8mm in width, it pairs perfectly with beads of similar size, offering endless styling possibilities. Accompanied by a handcrafted rope imbued with an ancient charm, it brings versatility and elegance to your accessory collection.
