The Snail Three-Way Bead is not about speed. It is about staying the course. In Tibetan mala tradition, the three-way bead—also called the mother bead or guru bead—marks the starting and ending point of a prayer cycle. HAND-FINISHED

The spiral is carved in multiple passes to keep the ridge edges crisp and the valleys clean. Each bore is drilled from three angles and then polished with abrasive cord to remove burrs. The white bronze is oxidized, then selectively re-polished on high points so the snail's shell catches light while the recesses stay dark. Final assembly—when an option includes cord, spacers, or secondary beads—is done by hand and checked against the original sample before shipping.

Keep it perfect

Wipe gently with a soft cloth. Avoid water, perfume, and abrasive surfaces. The white bronze patina will continue to darken and soften with skin contact; store in a dry pouch when not worn to slow oxidation.
