About
This brass whistle looks like an item straight out of Davy Jones locker. The body features an octopus whose tentacles flow elegantly down the base of the piece. It's sporting a jaunty pirate hat with a copper fish and rudder as adornments. It really adds some much needed contrast against the lighter brass that makes up the majority of the product. The eyes of this creature are filled with enamel to add depth to the features of the face so it appears more realistic. The mouth of the whistle features 925 sterling silver which really pops against the warmer shades of the other metals and pulls the whole piece together. This beautiful and complex product was cast using the lost wax casting method. It helps ensure that we retain the needed level of precision that our design requires so you always get the high quality and detailed piece that you paid for.

**Each of our pieces is handmade, we will send them out from our Asian studio when the local warehouses are out of stock. Any questions,please feel free to contact us at any time.
You orders will be delivered by a courier Monday to Friday.Please allow extra time for your order to be processed during public holidays and sale periods. Customs and Postal Service may also require extra time to work on the processing / delivery during peak season or before major festivals. Please also note that delays may occur as a result of pending payment authorizations.

We provide free delivery for orders exceeding $129. For orders below $129, our standard shipping fee is $9.9. An extra $12.99 shipping fee is applicable to the following regions or countries: Saudi Arabia, Norway, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Switzerland, Russia, and Puerto Rico (USA)
Taxes, Customs Duties:
Normally the priced shown on our pages is already inclusive import duties. No additional taxes or customs duties are collected.
Unfortunately, we have no control over taxes as customs policies vary by country. Any import duties and taxes are charged once the parcel has reached the destination country and these charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. If you have any questions related to customs charges you are advised to contact your local customs.
Late or lost orders
When placing your order please make sure that you specify the correct delivery address as Coppertist.wu take no responsibility for missing parcels that have been sent to the wrong address or if requested to leave with neighbour or an outbuilding.
Any order discrepancies relating to missing and/or lost items must be reported to us in writing via email at [email protected]. We cannot refund or replace lost items until 20 working days after the date of despatch (25 working days for international items).
Items not received but tracking shows they have been delivered
This may happen when items are sent to places of work. In some cases, your item might have been delivered to a post room or colleague within your company and someone else will have signed for it.
Please note we do not refund or replace items that are tracked as being delivered. For this reason, we always recommend that you get items delivered to a secure address.
Why was my order cancelled?
If your order was unexpectedly cancelled, chances are that our fraud filter marked your order as fraudulent. This is such a cool piece. Absolutely love the design. There are a couple details that aren't really problems, so much as personal o.c.d. issues. The whistle tone is a little out of tune, (but they never claimed it had a specific note, either). I'm glad I got it, and wear it regularly.

Love the octopus whistle which the dogs in the park also like. it is perfect for anything Steampunk, and little whistles used to be on Nanny chatelaines for Victorian babies. I have teased dogs with mine, but I wouldn't hesitate to use it if there was trouble. It is nice and loud when I put some effort into it.
